The United States Equestrian Federation has published the selection criteria for its Dressage team ahead of the 2027 Pan American Equestrian Confederation Championship of the Americas.
The competition will be held from 21 to 31 January 2027 at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida. Teams may be made up of combinations from Big Tour, Small Tour, or a combination of both categories.
For the American Dressage programme, this championship will provide an opportunity to give visibility to Small Tour combinations and those starting to make their way at Grand Prix level, allowing them to compete within a team structure.
Male and female riders wishing to contend for a place on the United States team must submit their application via the USEF athlete portal by 1 December 2026 at 23:59 Eastern Time. Each entry will cost 75 dollars and, once the deadline has passed, no new applications or modifications to those already submitted will be accepted.
In this way, USEF is setting sports planning in motion for a competition that will serve as a showcase for some of the combinations called upon to join the elite of American Dressage in the coming years.
