The Mythos Equestrian Center will host the final evaluation of Pura Sangre Lusitano (PSL) scheduled for 2026 on October 17th, a day organized by the Spanish Association of Breeders of Lusitano Pure-Breeds Horses (AEPSL) and aimed at male and female specimens.
The event will bring together breeders and specimens of the breed for a day dedicated to assessing their characteristics and determining their suitability as breeders. The AEPSL organizes several assessment days throughout the year, during which the specimens are examined by its Registration Committee. In the case of males, the assessment includes their presentation mounted, showing the three gaits with both hands, in addition to the study of the specimen at rest.
The 17th of October will be another opportunity to present PSL specimens and advance the selection and improvement of the breed within the association’s breeding program. The AEPSL also maintains a public database with officially evaluated specimens and their corresponding scores.
Registration is already open and can be done through the AEPSL website at Next link.
