Doha resumed its normal activity with the holding of the Al Shaqab Cup 2026.
A total of twenty horse-and-rider combinations took part in the CSI3* 1.50-metre Grand Prix, with Nasouh Kayali leading the event riding Figueras de Laume as the only double clear.
Second place was taken by Gerfried Puck riding Idiaal Special H.J., accumulating four faults in the jump-off.
Matthew Morrison rounded off the podium with Quebec, who picked up a total of one penalty point for exceeding the time allowed in this Grand Prix.
Meanwhile, regarding the CSI5*, a total of 17 combinations competed in the 1.60-metre Grand Prix.
Cyrine Cherif riding Triple T Calamardo Blue won this class as the only combination able to finish the round clear.
Second place went to Faleh Suwead Al Ajami riding Wathnan Quatro with a total of four faults, while third place went to Kristen Vanderveen with Bull Run’s Jireh.
