Swedish showjumper Mathilda Hansson has shared positive news regarding the progress of Luidam, who had to undergo emergency surgery after suffering a colic attack shortly after arriving in Peelbergen.
The procedure concluded successfully and the mare is recovering favourably under close veterinary supervision.
Hansson wanted to thank publicly the speed with which the whole team acted, as well as the care received during some particularly delicate moments.
The female rider also expressed her relief upon seeing that Luidam is well again and thanked the numerous tokens of affection received since she communicated what happened.
Whilst Luidam continues to make progress in his recovery, Hansson maintains his sporting activity alongside Pia-Lotta van’t Roosakker.
