The Madrid In Motion team arrives at the fifth venue of the Global Champions League 2025 in Cannes with a new addition to its ranks: debutante Kim Emmen. The Dutch equestrian, a member of the Netherlands Olympic team for Paris 2024, has been one of the team's key riders this season and could take to the arena for the first time as part of the starting trio.
Emmen was already present in Doha as a reserve, but now he is one of the three selected to compete in the French event. He will be joined by two key riders on the team: Spaniard Eduardo Álvarez Aznar and Dutchman Maikel van der Vleuten.
Madrid In Motion currently holds eighth position in the overall circuit standings. Its best result so far in 2025 was a fourth-place finish in Mexico City.
