Today's session at the CSN5* of the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona was starred by Joel Vallés, who took victory in the Volvo Trophy, a 1.45-metre high class, riding Dahna de Ponthual, owned by KAR Sport Horses. The rider based at Arroba Ganadería posted a clear round, stopping the clock at 68.44 seconds, a time that secured him first place in one of the major classes of the day.
Very close to snatching victory was Alex Codina, rider for Alda Stables and Chacco Rider, who finished in second position riding My Passion VD Donkhoeve. His round, also clear, was just a few tenths of a second slower: 68.75 seconds, a minimal difference that highlights the extremely high competitive level seen in this class.
The podium was completed by Javier González Fraga with Tik Tak de Pavia, who rode a clear round in 70.07 seconds, earning him a well-deserved third place.
Furthermore, Alex Codina also took fifth position with Jarno, producing another clear round in 71.78 seconds.
