Jerez de la Frontera is once again to place the horse as one of the main protagonists during the coming month of September.
The Andalusian city has presented a calendar that unites, without a doubt, competition, tradition, training and solidarity, with various equestrian activities scheduled practically throughout the entire month.
The programme will begin on 5 September with a Charity Gala at the Yeguada Cartuja Hierro del Bocado. The day will include a guided tour and an equestrian show starting at 11:00, with the funds raised being donated to the Mornese Foundation.
A few days later, one of the international events on the calendar will arrive. From 8 to 13 September, the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art will host the 7th World Working Equitation Championship, which will bring together in Jerez some of the best international horse-and-rider combinations in this discipline.
The activity will continue from 18 to 20 September with the 20th HM the King's Doma Vaquera Cup, also at the facilities of the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art. A competition that will once again bring together prominent representatives of a discipline deeply rooted in Spanish equestrian tradition.
Animal welfare will likewise have a prominent space. From 21 to 23 September, the Summer Course in Jerez on the PRE will be held, focusing on the animal welfare of the Purebred Spanish Horse in sport and breeding. The initiative forms part of the Summer Courses of the University of Cádiz and the International University of Andalusia.
