Spanish rider Imma Roquet triumphed in the Prize of Deutsche Kreditbank AG – Al Shira’aa at the CSI5* in Hamburg, the second qualifier for the Longines Grand Prix. Riding Elba del Maset, they stopped the clock at 35.66 seconds in a top-class jump-off, achieving an impeccable double clear to place her at the very top of the podium.
German rider Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann, one of the crowd favourites, finished in second position with My Lady Lavista after also completing a double clear in 36.41 seconds, just a few tenths behind the Spanish rider. Third place went to Rene Dittmer with Cody 139, who clocked a time of 36.43 seconds, confirming just how closely matched the top-placed competitors were. Latvian Kristaps Neretnieks with Corlansky-Pro and Irishman Thomas Ryan with Million's Grey completed clear rounds in 36.68 and 37.37 seconds respectively, whilst young Irish rider Tom Wachman joined the group of double clears with Obora's Laura.
