First major result for Iván Serrano with Paco vd Bisschop

Just two months ago, Iván Serrano started competing with Paco vd Bisschop, a son of H&M Cabrio van de Heffinck, a horse that until then had been ridden by the Asturian rider Álvaro Díaz.
In recent seasons, Iván Serrano has established himself as one of the regular names in the Spanish team. His new partnership with this 11-year-old horse is already starting to bear fruit.
The partnership made their debut at the Sunshine Tour in Montenmedio, where they competed in two shows, and last weekend they took part in the final event of the Spring Mediterranean Equestrian Tour IV 2026. There they showed clear progress, delivering a standout performance in the Grand Prix.
The Spanish rider and the BWP achieved a commendable fourth position in the premier event, also leaving very good impressions for the future.
We shall have to keep a close eye on how this promising partnership develops.
