The Real Federación Hípica Española (RFHE) has officially announced the team that will represent Spain at the Compiègne Classic Dressage Nations Cup (France), from May 1st to 4th. This is one of the stops that will serve to measure the performance of the pairs in preparation for future competitive events of importance.
The national team will be made up of four pairs that combine a very solid sporting background:
• Alejandro Asencio Méndez with Gaviao dos Cedros
• Claudio Castilla Ruiz with Hi-Rico do Sobral
• Manuel Domínguez Bernal with Danciano de Malleret
• Juan Matute Guimón with a Lexus
The team selection was made by the RFHE Selection Committee, which has opted for pairings that demonstrate great ability to compete at a high level.
One of the names that arrives in excellent form is Alejandro Asencio, who is having a great season with Gaviao dos Cedros. The Sevillian comes from imposing himself in the Special Grand Prixs both in Lier (Belgium) and Alter do Chão (Portugal), showing technical maturity and a perfect connection with the horse.
