The Canarian Equestrian Federation has launched a new call aimed at the promotion of Level 1 National Judges in Dressage and Para-Dressage, a training programme that has the approval of the National Technical Committee of Judges of the Royal Spanish Equestrian Federation (RFHE).
The registration period will remain open until the upcoming 15th of September 2026, and the call will have a total of 15 places available. Individuals over 18 years of age who hold, at a minimum, a valid Territorial Competing Licence may apply for them.
The training will combine various theoretical and practical stages. Firstly, candidates must pass a questionnaire phase, which will be followed by two residential sessions. The first will take place between 30th October and 1st November, whilst the second will run from 20th to 22nd November.
The process will conclude with a practical phase that will enable future judges to apply the knowledge acquired to the context of the competition. This part of the training will take place during the Canary Islands Championship, scheduled for 4th, 5th and 6th December.
The call is also open to applicants from other autonomous communities. In these cases, it will be necessary to submit an authorisation signed by the corresponding regional equestrian federation.
Regarding the cost of the training, registration for the Level 1 Dressage course is priced at 100 euros, while the fee for Level 1 Para-Dressage is 50 euros. Those who decide to take both training courses can do so for a combined amount of 125 euros.
