Alex Codina Leria finished his participation in the 2026 Catalan Show Jumping Championship with a bronze medal, held from 16 to 20 September at the Cerdanya Equestrian Centre. The Spanish rider secured third position in the overall standings of the 7-Year-Old Young Horses Championship riding Joy de Goutte Noire.
Codina and Joy de Goutte Noire finished the championship with a final clear round, being the only one in the competition, contesting the medal decider and finally securing the third step of the podium.
The gold went to Elisabeth Goyoaga Mollet with J Adore MGL, who topped the overall classification with a total of 0-0-4. The silver medal went to Xavier Cebrià Soriano and Jazz des Matis, who finished on 0-4-4-0 and completed their final round clear in 35.60 seconds.
In this way, Alex Codina and Joy de Goutte Noire cap off their time at the Catalan Championship with a bronze medal in the 7-year-old category, adding another standout result to their 2026 season.
