Lavanoche T&L Z, a mare previously competed by the young rider Gilles Thomas, will now be ridden by the Frenchman Gregory Cottard.
The mare is currently nine years old and is by Lavallino Ter Klomp out of Binoche Z (by Bentley Van De Heffnick).
With Lavanoche T&L Z, Gilles Thomas has racked up endless successes, ranging from first place in Sunday's 1.50m CSI5* class in the Borek Price at the Dutch Masters, to stepping onto the podium at the Andalucía Sunshine Tour in February of this year. They had previously stood out in 2023 when they won the second qualifier at the FEI World Breeding Jumping Championships for seven-year-old horses.
They also finished first in the 1.45-metre class at the CSIO3* EEF in Peelbergen, as well as in Montenmedio, and they also climbed onto the podium in Oliva Nova in 2023.
Now the mare will continue her professional career with Gregory Cottard.
