As we anticipated at Chacco Marketing, this weekend a CSI3* international show jumping competition is taking place in Arouca (Portugal), at the Quint\u00e3s Equestrian Center, which features a prominent Spanish representation.<\/p>\n
The major protagonist was the Spanish rider Armando Trapote, who won the big 1.45-metre class with Matilda, thereby making the national anthem play at the very top of the podium. With this same ten-year-old mare, a daughter of Hh Messenger x Chacetana (x Chacco Blue), Trapote had already achieved very good results a few months ago at the CSI5*-W of the Bordeaux World Cup in 1.50-metre classes.<\/p>\n
In that same 1.45-metre class, fifth place went to Pello Elorduy riding Emir de Burgo. Furthermore, in the 1.40-metre class, Roi Calvi\u00f1o finished fourth with his regular mount Enjoy.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, in the 1.25-metre class, Javier Gonz\u00e1lez Fraga took sixth position with Braveheart JGF, a mare with whom he had already finished fifth the previous day in that same class.<\/p>\n
Also yesterday, excellent results were recorded for the Spanish team in the main class, where the national combinations took third, fourth and fifth place. In this context, Pello Elorduy was third with Champenoise de Rampan and fifth with Hit Rock de Bornival Z, while fourth place went to Armando Trapote with Matilda, the same combination that has achieved victory today.<\/p>\n
The competition will conclude this Saturday with the Jump & Drive event, and will close tomorrow with the 1.50-metre Grand Prix.<\/p>\n
