The 2026 Longines Global Champions Tour season kicked off last weekend in Miami, marking the start of a circuit that, two decades after its creation, has established itself as the elite of international show jumping. It is not for nothing that many consider it the true \u201cFormula 1 of the equestrian world\u201d.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
It was in 2006 when it all began, with a calendar comprising six venues: Palm Beach, Cannes, Monaco, Estoril, Valkenswaard and Lanaken. Today, twenty years later, the circuit has grown to reach 15 events, with its first stop this year in Miami Beach.<\/p>\n
Throughout its history, only three riders have achieved the feat of reaching 10 Grand Prix victories on this circuit.<\/p>\n
The undisputed leader is Scott Brash. The current world number one in the Longines FEI ranking has a total of 14 wins between 2013 and 2025, achieved with seven different horses. This is a fact that reflects not only his talent, but also his extraordinary capacity for adaptation. Furthermore, he has climbed onto the podium in 20 Grands Prix.<\/p>\n
His victories are shared among already iconic names: six with Hello Sanctos; two with Hello Forever and Hello Chadora Lady; and one with Hello M\u2019Lady, Hello Mr President, Ursula XII and Hello Jeferson. It was precisely with Hello Sanctos that he secured his first triumph in 2013 in Doha, initiating a streak that would continue in venues such as Cannes, Estoril, London, Miami Beach or Cascais. Afterwards, he would extend his list of honours in arenas such as Monaco, Mexico City, Stockholm, Shanghai or St. Tropez.<\/p>\n
In second position appears his compatriot Ben Maher, with 11 victories achieved with five different horses, also consolidating himself as a reference on the circuit.<\/p>\n
The exclusive podium is completed by Sweden's Rolf-G\u00f6ran Bengtsson, who achieved 10 victories, all of them alongside his inseparable Casall ASK, forming one of the most successful partnerships in modern show jumping.<\/p>\n
