The Ecuadorian Equestrian Sports Federation has announced the combinations that will represent the country in the disciplines of Jumping and Dressage during the 13th South American Games Santa Fe 2026, which will be held in Argentina.
In Show Jumping, Ecuador will be represented by Priscila Simpson and Mesut Ozil. The female equestrian will thus take on a new international competition defending the colours of her country alongside a horse with whom she has been developing her sporting career.
The Federation highlighted the work done by the pair to achieve this selection, the result of years of preparation and joint evolution. Simpson and Mesut Ozil will be responsible for carrying the Ecuadorian flag onto the track in a competition that will feature some of the region's leading sports representatives.
Meanwhile, Ecuador will participate with four pairs in the Dressage events. Franziska Klinkicht will ride Bengalo Guardiola II, Carolina Espinoza will compete with Bak Conde, María José Granja will partner with Balido CH, and Julio Mendoza will be accompanied by Deparon.
