The Catalan rider celebrated another win this weekend after taking victory in several events at Moura Tours.
At the end of the year, Chacco Marketing reported that Alfons Roquet had clinched the title of Absolute Champion of the Catalonia Championship riding Carabinieri, in keeping with a strong season.
Now, at the CSN5* of the Royal Spanish Equestrian Federation's National Jumping League, held at Moura Tours, he has maintained that good form with which he closed the year.
During yesterday's session, he won both of the major events. With Sandro Eclipse he finished first in the 1.45-metre event, whilst with Carabinieri he led the 1.40-metre one.
To that was added today the 1.50-metre Grand Prix with Sandro Eclipse, narrowly missing the podium in the 1.40-metre Grand Prix with Carabinieri.
Sandro Eclipse is an eleven-year-old horse by Sandro’s Boy Z out of Billy Ritz (by Voltaire), while Carabinieri is a ten-year-old horse by Cascadello I out of Z-Concordia (by Voltaire).
With this latest horse, he was already on the podium in the Silver League in 2025. Will we see consistency in his results?
The next venue of the league is scheduled for the first weekend of May at the Club de Campo Villa de Madrid, finally culminating at the Real Club Pineda in Seville from 25th to 27th September.
